Congratulations to the 2026

Georgetown Quilt Show Winners:

Every quilt featured in the show has a story, each one unique and close to the heart of the creator. This year's Best of Show award went to Donna Oelfke. Donna entered "Eula's Garden" in the Special Techniques category. Completed in 2026, Donna writes of the work: "Eula was my Godmother.  She had beautiful gardens of flowers, vegetables and critters.  The embellishment stitches and beading are my tribute to "Eula's Garden".  My quilt was based on a subscription quilt pattern by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings.  It is wool applique on flannel."  Donna won the Best of Show in this category in 2025 as well for her "Twilight Garden".
